Residential Engineer

Tasks and duties

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential facilities or complexes.
• Planning and coordinating all installations such as telecommunications, heat, electricity and refurbishments.
• Ensuring the buildings and their services meet the needs of the residents, implementing and managing systems for reporting faults and issues.
• Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
• Serving as the main point of contact for providers such as cleaning, catering and security services.
• Managing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and obtaining quotes for repairs and maintenance.
• Upholding health and safety regulations and ensuring all works carried out are compliant.
