How to become a Systems Engineer
To work as a Systems Engineer, a bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or a related field is typically required.
Pursue a bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. These degrees can provide a solid foundation in computer systems administration, software development, networking infrastructures and database administration.
Gain practical experience. Immerse yourself in IT departments or technology companies through internships or entry-level roles. These types of environments can give you opportunities for hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting systems.
Specialise in systems engineering.
