What's it like to be a Product Manager?
Using their understanding of market trends and the needs of customers, Product Managers develop products or services and formulate a product strategy. They also work with other cross-functional teams to build, enhance and launch products or services and manage the resources needed to produce them. Traditionally, Product Managers work in information technology and marketing settings.

How to become a Product Manager
To become a Product Manager, you need competencies in business management, marketing, and for some industries, a keen understanding of the industry you want to work for. A formal qualification is usually a requirement.
- Complete a relevant bachelor degree in IT, business or marketing.
- Gain workplace experience and take on projects to deepen your industry knowledge. Some businesses, especially in tech-focused companies, require Product Managers to have proven experience in leading industry-relevant projects.
