Tasks and duties

• Maintaining financial records for mutual or hedge funds, and other types of investment portfolios.
• Calculating a fund's income, expenses and updating the net asset value (NAV).
• Preparing fund financial statements and disclosures in accordance with accounting standards.
• Reconciling portfolio holdings and cash balances with custodians and brokers.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and fund-specific accounting and reporting requirements.
• Analysing and verifying fund transactions and activity for accuracy.
• Assisting with the audit process by providing auditors with necessary reports and documentation.
