Malacca Securities Sdn Bhd ("the Company") is a participating organisation of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and licensed by the Securities Commission to undertake regulated activities of dealing in securities, investment advice, and advising on corporate finance.
The Company is principally involved in stockbroking and dealing in securities listed on Bursa Malaysia and other Exchanges. The Company's subsidiaries provide nominee (custodian) services.
Established in 1963, we started off as a partnership under Malacca Traders as a small broking firm based in Malacca, which eventually grew and evolved to what we know today as Malacca Securities Sdn Bhd since 1992. We have survived several world financial crises, especially in 1997. We came back stronger after the year 2000 when the stock market became more well-structured and risk management frameworks were in place. Currently, the company operates 16 branches in Malaysia, spanning Klang Valley, Penang, Johor, Pahang, Ipoh, and Kedah.
Our aim is to help our clients grow their wealth and be financially literate. As such, we educate our clients by providing workshops, training, and tools so that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to invest in the stock market. “Equipping Traders for the Win” is our business motto, so rest assured that you, as our clients, are always at the center of our plans.
Since 2012, the company has shifted the focus to going digital due to the ongoing digitalisation process in Malaysia and started the online trading platform rebranded as M+ Online. The introduction of our Artificial Intelligent (AI) tool, called Elfstone and mPower was another big step forward as AI aids investors in their decision-making process.
Subsequently in the years ahead, the company bagged numerous awards, mainly from mainly Bursa Excellence Awards and Retail Investor Campaign. We grew from a small town broker to a broker that is now well-known, and with services sought after by many.
