Since moving to its present premises in Ayer Keroh in August 1995, the hospital has grown in many facets. Today, Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh (A branch of Pantai Medical Centre Sdn. Bhd.) or PHAK, located 5 km from the Ayer Keroh toll interchange is on a firm footing with 250 beds under its wing. Supported by a team of more than 100 specialists, the hospital "unleashed" its new wing, a project completed in late 2001. Equipped with a host of new and complementary services and facilities, it has been instrumental in helping the hospital meet its patients' needs head on.
History
Spurred on by the desire to offer specialist services in a concerted manner, a group of consultants got together and established the Hospital, a two-storey building with a total floor area of 20,000 sq ft in Jalan Ong Kim Wee, Melaka. Established in 1986, Medical Specialist Centre, or MSC's unwavering commitment to the Melaka townsfolk was enlarging at a pace that in years later, a spin-off with more complete facilities had to be seriously considered.
