Established in 1972, Texas Instruments Malaysia is a subsidiary of Texas Instruments Incorporated US, and one of the pioneers in the Malaysian electronics industry. We are one of the largest volume manufacturing sites for semiconductor assembly and test. With awards and recognition from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry and the International Standards Organization, we are well positioned to continue making significant contributions in this field and compete in the global semiconductor market place.

Built by the determination of founders Eugene McDermott, Erik Jonsson, Cecil Green and Pat Haggerty, our company not only survived, but changed the world through risk taking and innovation.
Our contributions to communities and industries around the world are unmatched because of thousands of TI people, including inventors such as Nobel Prize-winner Jack Kilby. Thanks to them, our history includes inventions such as the first commercial silicon transistors, the first integrated circuits and the first electronic hand-held calculator.
