Purchasing Assistant Manager / Executive
Negeri Sembilan - Nilai
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Finance & Admin. Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible :

to purchase and negotiate for the best price and credit terms while ensuring the specification and quality of materials are aligned with company requirements.

to coordinate with sales & marketing team, production team and suppliers to plan for deliveries of raw material in a timely manner to meet production schedule.
-
to study the finished product with a focus on enhancing products' knowledge and sourcing for alternative raw materials to enhance the company's position.
-
to inititate and maintain effective/professional relationship with existing and potential vendors/suppliers.
-
to follow-up on the daily stock level movement for forecasted purchases and to monitor the in-coming materials and return activities.

to understand the purchasing procedures under ISO and to comply with its requirements.
-
to prepare weekly/monthly procurement analysis report.
Requirements:
-
Candidates must possess at least a Degree preferably in Chemistry/Supply Chain or other related disciplines.
-
Candidates with a Degree in Accounting/Finance and have work experience in a chemical related industry can be considered.
-
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience. Candidates with experience in planning/ purchasing/inventory or equivalent in a manufacturing environment will have an added advantage.

Applicant should have a versatile negotiation trait, independent and good interpersonal skills.

IT literate and highly proficient in MS Office application.

High standard of integrity and ethical practices.

Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.

Good leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Able to multi-task and handle various assignments and projects with different levels of complexity and able to adapt in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
