We are an established manufacturing company seeking for a suitable and qualified candidate to fill in the position of:

Safety And Health Officer
Kedah

Responsibilities:

 
  • Maintain and administer Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health policies, procedures and practices.
  • Responsible and ensure for all Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS) issues of the company is in compliance with local  regulations such as Dept of Safety & Health (DOSH), Dept of Environment (DOE), Ministry of Health Department and Fire Services Department (BOMBA).
  • Manage and support improvement programs, identify and evaluate existing workplace hazards.
  • Provide advice to management on all OSH issues and concerns.
  • Responsible for all related environmental, safety & health issues.
  • Maintain reports of accidents for management action and investigate industrial accidents to determine causes of accidents and propose preventive measures.
  • To prepare and deliver EHS training to employees, vendors and contractors. 

Requirements:

 

  • Candidate must possess Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
  • Posses a Safety and Health Officer Certificate from NIOSH and registered as Occupational Safety & Health Officer with JKKP/DOSH
  • Holder of Green Book 
  • Well-versed with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Words & Power Point.
  • Good command over written and spoken English.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Self-initiated and able to work independently.
  • Hardworking & with excellent teamwork ability.
