Logistics Supervisor (6 months contract)
Selangor
Responsibilities:
-
To be responsible for all export/import activities.
-
To liaise and co-ordinate shipments with freight forwarders and shipping line.
-
To arrange shipments according to requirement and liaise with internal warehouse to ensure shipments are being handled promptly and delivered on-time.

To prepare accurately all shipping documents i.e. LC, Invoice, Bill of Lading, Packing List, Certificate of Origin etc.
-
To assist in any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Manage 3PL – Warehousing and distribution.
-
Organize monthly meetings with 3PL to discuss their problems.
-
Analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements.
-
Generate weekly and monthly reports.

Ensure that all business activities are properly managed and controlled and comply with the organization’s standard operating procedures and further enhance SOP when needed.

Ensure quality and efficient services are provided to customers
-
Liaise with government agencies and policy makers.
Requirements:
-
Candidate must possess at least a SPM/ Diploma/ Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
-
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.

Computer literate.
-
Able to write and speak English and Malay well.

Good communication skill.

Able to work in Tropicana, Petaling Jaya

Retiree with experience in logistics are encouraged to apply
