R D Engineer
Penang Responsibilities:

Be the local technical interface with Corporate R&D projects
-
Work with local universities, Rubber Research Institute and other external partners on technologies that compliment R&D work
-
Provide effective project management to insure appropriate procedures of design controls of new products are followed.

Coordinate with various parties including contract manufacturer to execute activities of the assigned projects.

Ensure proper documentation of design activities
-
Perform laboratory studies and production trial runs to prove out new technologies.
-
Conduct process validation for new products or processes.
-
Support Operation/MT for new product transfer from R&D to production
-
Manage technical resources at non-exempt level to support area of focus
Requirements:
-
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Chemistry or equivalent.

Required skill(s): project management skills and technical competence in polymer chemistry, Good command of spoken and written English.
