Accounts Executive
(Penang)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all financial ledgers, records and information under his/her responsibility comply with local statutory and US GAAP guidelines.
  • Provide information to local management on Kraft financial policies and procedures within area of responsibility and ensures compliance with these guidelines
  • Ensure proper Internal Controls are in place and operating effectively to safeguard company assets and to guarantee that financial statements are compliant with Kraft policies & procedures
  • SOX process documentation is timely updated, Self-Assessments are completed as required, and any remediation or action plans are timely implemented
  • Support the review of financial accounts within area of responsibility by both internal and external auditors.
  • Participate in the definition of all operating unit accounting system needs and in the implementation of approved strategies in order to support and enhance accounting processes.
  • Control, maintain and review access to all financial applications under area of responsibility to ensure only appropriate access for both finance and non-finance users.
  • Support FP&A to drive the planning process with full planning calendar, proactive communication with management
  • Support on the FP&A on the reporting and analysis as when needed

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): good knowledge of financial accounting and financial legislation,
  • Good knowledge of procedures, policies and internal processes
  • Familiar with SAP and MS Office applications
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
  • Full-Time positions available.
