Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE:.
Enforcement of Safety and Health rules as well as factory & machinery regulations within the ambit of PKFZ and in compliance with the Department of Safety and Health (DOSH), Malaysia and any other local authority.
To study and evaluate security situation of PKFZ and advice management on any additional Security Personnel is required to safe guard the property of PKFZ and tenants.
To provide Security Intelligence from time to time pertaining to possible threat or risk affecting the Free Zone.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SAFETY & HEALTH :

To implement and update the new & current regulation from DOSH in line with the Safety and Health plan for Port Klang Free Zone’s project site and clients.

To monitor safety activities on the project site (completed project & construction phase).
-
To enforce safety and health rules and regulations.
-
To conduct regular inspections in PKFZ (LIU, LOB & Open Land) and any other public areas within the zone.
-
To conduct investigations on incidents on the project site and submit report to the management as well as to the authority concerned.

To compile reports on incidents statistics related to the safety & health environment.
-
To submit monthly Safety and Health report(s) to DOSH and AGM, Corporate Development (PKFZ).

To liaise with the Business Facilitation Department on matters pertaining to Safety and Health related to the project and operators inside PKFZ.
-
To liaise with DOSH for approvals and endorsement required for tenants.
-
To liaise with the relevant authorities on matters pertaining to Safety and Health related to any project’s within PKFZ.
-
To prepare annual budget for the purchase of safety equipment.
-
To initiate proposals for upgrading the facility with new safety measures.
-
To follow up on all issues (internal & external) related to Engineering and Safety and Health.

To manage the Key Management System on key issuing, tracking replacement and returning of keys.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SECURITY :
-
Responsible of verifying the documentations such as overtime claims and monthly billings, reports, diaries and duty rosters.

Responsible for security and safety of the building.

Develop work instructions, security and safety policies and procedures.

To liaise with the Head of Auxiliary Police in ensuring security standard at the free zone.

To conduct security surveys and supervisory checks of the Free Zone for customer safety and report any incident, security breaches etc. to the Assistant General Manager, Corporate Development from time to time.

To liaise and cooperate with the Head of Port Police to achieve the set objectives and targets, formulating, implementing & monitoring strategic policies and procedures.

To develop within Corporate Security Guidelines, local security procedures, organization and infrastructure.

To ensure the security safety situation within the free zone is under control and feasible for all business activities.
-
Responsible for the security of the entire company premises and free zone area.

Initiate investigation of internal cases reported that warrant an investigation.

Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of security department.
Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree / Diploma.
-
At least 10 years relevant working experience preferably in environmental / health / safety and security environment.

Preferably registered with JKKP / DOSH.
-
Possess good leadership quality and positive working attitude.
-
Detailed and systematic, excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Good planning and execution skills.
-
Self motivated, responsible and able to work independently.

Possess own transport and willing to work in Pulau Indah (Port Klang)
