Safety Officer - System Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd

We are an established Class ‘A’ Construction Company located in Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur specializing in Buildings and Infrastructure Works. Due to our rapid expansion, we are seeking talented and highly motivated candidates to fill the following vacancy.

The site Safety Officer acts in an overall advisory capacity to the site management, ensuring compliance with statutory and companies requirements for safety, health, welfare and environment
Establishing safety procedures and safety plans at site
Monitor noise and vibration along the route
Reviewing on subcontractors method statement
Check validity of PMA certificate of the cranes and lifting devices
To provide supervision and monitoring for high risk works including heavy lifting operations
Checking and signing all erected scaffolding and temporary works propping
Checking and monitoring environmental issue relating to noise and pollution
To implement training session, tool box talk, employee induction and safety briefing for new employees or on a regular basis throughout the construction period
To investigate and prepare report for all accidents and incidents on site
To organize first aid session as and when necessary
To plan, configure & initiate weekly & monthly reports for senior management viewing/sharing
Any other duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time
