This position is located in Abu Dhabi for Abu Dhabi Polymers (Borouge)
The laboratory researcher who will have a relevant expertise in Spectroscopy, entails in depth knowledge in FTIR with microscopes/ATR, NMR, XRF, UV-VIS, etc in the field of polyolefin will contribute to the Borouge innovation process by participating in the definition of the scientific content of the projects and to their IPR protection. He will operate equipments typically used in subject field, draw conclusions from the investigations and publish and communicate scientific reports relative to projects leading to new product / method specifications and knowledge development. The Spectroscopy researcher will become Borouge’s expert in this field and will as such write scientific articles and presentations to be communicated in technical journals and conferences. He will have a profound theoretical and practical knowledge of polyolefin’s spectroscopy specialization. Any additional competencies, such as AAS, ICP etc. in polymer field and/or other analytical tests would be regarded as a clear advantage.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Master's Degree or Doctorate (PhD) in Chemistry or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Chemistry or equivalent. Job role in Chemist/Researcher or equivalent.
Polypropylene and polyethylene plastics. Operational and theoretical knowledge of FTIR, NMR, XRF, UV-VIS in polyolefins
