Finance Manager

Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's overall accounting and finance operations
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports
- Prepare financial analysis and management reports to facilitate management's decision making process
- Develop short and long-term financial plans, budgets and projections
- Develop financial models and simulations for investment purposes
- Oversee the credit control and bursary functions to ensure timely collection of tuition fees from students
- Ensure adequate internal control and review financial policies from time to time
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory filing requirements
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, legal officers and other statutory bodies/authorities
Requirements:
- Candidate must posses at least a bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in accounting (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA)
- Member of MIA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar capacity, knowledge of the education industry would be an advantage
- Posses business acumen and the ability to drive business decisions
- Mature, independent, posses leadership quality and the ability to lead a team of accounting staff
- Posses good communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity
