Security Analyst (Kuala Lumpur - TPM, Bukit Jalil)
Responsibilities:
Establish overall security objectives and goals for the organizational unit consistent with the overall security objectives and goals.
Ensure bank infrastructures (servers, workstation, networks, etc) are complied to bank security standard by conducting regular, adequate and effective security testing
Ensure Vulnerability alerts are processed and communicated to respective technology teams for deployment on bank infrastructures
Ensure Penetration testing on firewall gateways is conducted regularly and fixes are applied where applicable.
To coordinate between vendor and IT support team in bank to conduct the testing regularly and successfully
Adherence to the operational security process
To generate security metrics
Ongoing Windows security monitoring
Assist in the automation of Windows security monitoring tasks
Interfacing with other teams to resolve security issues
Assist in the transition of current processes to IBM Tivoli
Identify security issues and follow-up on them to resolution.
Adherence to the operational security process
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, Certification on Information Security or other generic IT Service Mgt. Practices.
Candidate also must has experience in administering Unix systems, Windows servers, Databases (Oracle, Sybase, DB2, MSSQL), or Tandem/AS400.
Windows 2000 and up, Server and Workstation - essential
Development of small applications in VBS or VB or Perl - essential
ActiveDirectory - good understanding
Relational Database skills – beneficial
Incident management skills – beneficial
Unix – beneficial
Process Management Skills
Presentation Skills
Analytical Skills
A strong command of spoken and written English
Self-starter and ability to work without too much direct supervision
MCSE, CISSP, CISA – beneficial
Applicants must be willing to work in TPM,Bukit Jalil.
