MYR 2300 - 3200 [+Bonus and Allowance]
(Kedah, Penang) Responsibilities:
- Design and development of advanced equipment automation from prototype to finished product for release to manufacturing.
- To design, build and lead automation and equipment projects.
- Ability to work with other design engineers to reach solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and rectify problems encountered in the design environment.
- Communicate with suppliers to meet design specification and quality.
- Interact with Marketing to develop specifications for new product development.
- To design and fabricate prototypes and evaluate the performance of the prototype.
- Interact with customers in new product trials.
- Prepare design/development schedule per project requirements and execute mechanical piece part design, process, complete machine documentation and tooling test/buy-off criteria.
- Ensure customers’ requirements are met in design specification, evaluate feasibility and provide technical expertise.
- Involved in continuous tooling and process improvements.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- Experience in automation industry is an added advantage.
- Required skill(s): SolidWorks.
- Preferred skill(s): AutoCAD.
- Required language(s): Chinese, English
