We are part of Illinois Tool Works Inc., USA (ITW), a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered components, industrial systems and consumables. ITW consists of more than 800 decentralized operations in 50 countries and employs approximately 55,000 people. Our group is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of packaging products for use in the storage, handling and shipping of ESD sensitive electronic components. In Malaysia, we supply shipping tube, carrier tape, static shielding and moisture barrier bags, injection molded and thermoformed trays. We have 5 plants in Malaysia and to support our expansion program, we wish to invite a suitably qualified and dynamic individual to join our team in Penang as :

Production Manager
(Penang - Bayan Lepas)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall running of the production department to meet the business unit's objectives.
Planning and managing to ensure effective manpower utilization, materials and equipment to maximize production yield and meet quality, productivity and cost objectives.
Ensuring quality, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction targets are being met.
Ensure continuous improvement of yield and quality through close working relationships with all departments.
Identify new processes and procedures to increase products quality and productivity yield.

Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Technology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 – 10 years working experience in plastic injection moulding industry where at least 3 years are holding a manager position.
Knowledge in SPC, problem solving techniques, ISO9000 and ISO14000 standards.
Technically competent with strong leadership traits, good analytical skills, result-oriented, proactive, resourceful with a high degree of independence and perseverance.
Proficiency in English is a must, language skill in Chinese is an added advantage.
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status and must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
