We are part of Illinois Tool Works Inc., USA (ITW), a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered components, industrial systems and consumables. ITW consists of more than 800 decentralized operations in 50 countries and employs approximately 55,000 people. Our group is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of packaging products for use in the storage, handling and shipping of ESD sensitive electronic components. In Malaysia, we supply shipping tube, carrier tape, static shielding and moisture barrier bags, injection molded and thermoformed trays. We have 5 plants in Malaysia and to support our expansion program, we wish to invite a suitably qualified and dynamic individual to join our team in Penang as:

• Ensure continuous improvement of yield and quality through close working relationships with all departments.
• Identify new processes and procedures to increase quality and productivity yield.
• Able to maintain, monitor and troubleshoot product failures and machineries issues.
• Provide technical and engineering support to production.
• Ensure production target are achieved on time, with optimal utilization of resources available.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Technology / Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in plastic injection moulding industry.
• Knowledge in SPC, problem solving techniques, ISO9000 and ISO14000 standards.
• Technically competent with good analytical skills, result-oriented, proactive, resourceful with a high degree of independence and perseverance.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status and must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
