What is JobStreet SMS Apply?
JobStreet SMS Apply
is a service that lets you use SMS on your mobile phone to deliver your job application to an employer. There are two ways to use this service:
Apply to the job using the
Job Code
that you see in the on-line job advertisement, or
If the Job Code is not available, apply to the employer's
Email Address
.
When your application is delivered successfully to the employer through either method, we shall send you an SMS as an acknowledgement. In addition, if you use the Email Address method, you will also receive an emailed copy of the application that we send to the employer.
What is the difference between the two methods?
When you use the Job Code method, your resume is delivered straight into the employer's resume software system.
When you apply using the Email Address method, your resume is attached to the email message that is sent to the employer.

Will I be informed if my SMS Apply cannot be sent?
Firstly, you must be careful when typing the Job Code or the employer's Email Address. Typing the incorrect information may result in you sending your resume to the wrong job or the wrong employer. However, JobStreet.com will still consider your SMS Apply as successfully sent.
But there may be times when the SMS Apply cannot reach an employer due to technical, resume or MyJobStreet account problems. In this case, there is no charge to you.
If you use the Job Code method, we will tell you of the failure by a text message (SMS) to your mobile phone.
If you use the Email Address method, we will send the failure message to your email address that is registered in your MyJobStreet account.
Will I be able to track my SMS Apply for job applications?
YES. Just log into your MyJobStreet account and click on the Applications tab. You will be able to see and track all your applications, including those sent through SMS Apply.
