If you want a short getaway in Malaysia, it is important to be aware of the current restriction statuses of each destination.

Malaysian states under CMCO and RMCO

Johor, Kelantan, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Selangor are under CMCO until May 17, 2021. Meaning, interstate travel remains suspended until further announcement. However, inter-district travel is allowed and most retail and F&B establishments, including spas, reflexology, massage, and wellness activities are also open.

Other states, including Melaka, Labuan, and Putrajaya have now been placed under RMCO, which allows some entertainment and tourism activities. Under RMCO, interstate travel is now allowed as long as tourists do so through a registered tour agency.

Seremban, Negeri Sembilan
